South West Men's Apparatus

Our boys travelled to Exeter on the 22nd October 2012 to take part in the SW Regional Championships where they compete in various age groups on six pieces of apparatus. Our two youngest boys took part in the U’8 Compulsory Section. Peter Carter and Haydn May were competing for the first time at this level. Peter performed a lovely floor with a high front somi finish to come 3rd on this apparatus a few errors on the other pieces put his overall standing at 13th. Haydn had a steady competition all around to place 6th his best piece was parallel bars where he placed 3rd.In the U’10 section Sam Haberfield was 5th in the overall standings out of a field of 32 he performed a very clean high bar routine to place 3rd on this apparatus. In the U’12 section Harry Andrews made a few uncharacteristic errors which saw him place 7th on this occasion.
