International Award for Rhian

Bristol Hawks Coach Rhian Pugh has updated her International Brevet Judging Award. The Brevet is awarded by the Federation of International Gymnastics and enables Rhian to judge International standard competitions through out the world. Rhian, who for many years travelled the world as one of Great Britain’s top International gymnasts, first qualified as an International judge in 2009. The F.I.G. Code of Points is the rule book that governs all top level gymnastic competitions and is updated after every Olympic Games. The worlds top judges have to pass a rigorous exam in order to requalify. Rhian passed the latest exam [February 27th 2013] with flying colours. Best known for being Great Britain’s first women ever to win a European Gold Rhian’s championship winning bar routine played its part in Great Britains meteoric rise in the gymnastic world and continues to inspire young gymnasts today.
