Great Britain Senior Squad Selection

After taking part in the recent World Championship Trials at Lilleshall National Sports Centre Bristol Hawks Gymnast Claudia Fragapane has been selected for a place in the Great Britain Senior High Performance Squad. Her strong showing in the rankings earned her a place in what is the top squad for artistic women gymnasts in GB. Claudia becomes the youngest member of the squad of just 12 of the top gymnasts in the country. Claudia was disappointed earlier in the year when an injury prevented her from taking part in both the English and British Championships. Selections for squad places are normally taken from the results at the British Championships and Claudia had to wait until the trials in August to show the National Squad Coaches what she is capable of.
