Baskervilles Cup 2013

Bristol Hawks Boys were in the medals again at the 10th Anniversary of the Baskervilles Cup held in Bath on 14th July. The Cup traditionally attracts entries from clubs thoughout the South of England with boys competing in various age groups.
In the 2004 age group Haydn May was delighted to win the Gold medal for the high bar where he produced a very clean routine he was also third on Rings and sixth AA. Peter Carter placed 2nd on vault with a well flighted handspring and was also 3rd on the Parallel Bars. Dylan Hunt had a fantastic debut competition especially pleasing were his 7 double leg circles on the mushroom showing promise for the future he helped the team to the bronze medals. In the 2002 age group Sam Haberfield was 3rd AA with a great score of 13.9 on pommels gaining him 2nd place, he was also 2nd on floor where he competed his arabian somersault for the first time. In the U’14 age group Harry Andrews top scored on Pommels winning the Gold medal, he was second on both high bar and rings with well landed double back somersault dismounts on both these apparatus and he also was third on vault and AA.
