Boys National NDP Finals 2014

South West Teams chosen from the regional qualifiers travelled to Birmingham on 7th & 8th November to compete against regional teams from across Great Britain. Bristol Hawks was well represented in many age groups and helped the South West Region win the Blakeborough Trophy for the best regional team & individuals combined across the age groups.
In Level 1 Shay Vann-Hinds won Team Gold and was 5th in the individual overall a placing that won him a prize of a training camp at the National Sports Centre Lilleshall.
In Level 2 Haydn May competed as an individual and had a clean competition with his best apparatus being pommels 9.4 where he has made great progress.
In Level 3 Theo Birakos won Team Gold contributing well to the team score flying high on the vault to score 9.55.
In Level 4 Bill Mc Cullough took Team Bronze and was the top SW gymnast placing 9th overall.
In Level 5 Troy Fyfe, who has improved greatly this year, was taking part in his first National Finals. His Team came 5th.
