West Country League Finals 2012

The last competition of the year was the West Country League Finals held at Melksham on 24th and 25th of November. It has been another great year for our teams with many good individual & team performances through out the year and a chance for our girls to debut new work in a friendly team atmosphere.
The finals saw the last competition performance of longstanding Bristol Hawks team member Holly Downey. Holly is hanging up her handguards to concentrate on her studies. She has always been a great team member competing for both club & county. She completed all her National Grades achieving the highest level of Distinction in the top National grade. She has been a member of our medal winning Rushmoor Rosebowl team since 2010 and will be a member of the Bristol Hawks family forever. We wish her all the best in all her future endeavours and hope she’ll keep in close contact with the club.
Over the weekend our ‘A’ ;‘B’ & ‘C’ teams all won the silver medals in the Premiership division with Claudia Fragapane as top scorer in ‘C’ League; Isabel Davies top scorer in ‘B’ league & Teagan Andrews second overall in ‘A’ league.
