Men's NDP & Elite Grade National Finals 2015

After a highly successful regional qualifier Bristol Hawks men’s team had a record 8 gymnasts representing the South West Region at the National Finals in Birmingham on the weekend of 13th-15th November.
In Elite Level 1 Jay Franklin came 6th overall including 1st place in the country on both Pommels and PPP. Noah Ford was 13th AA his highest score was APP where he was rewarded with a 9.6 & 9.4 on PPP where he placed 4th in the country. Calum Honey highlight was vault where he scored 9.65 for a powerful Straight front- dive roll out.
In Elite Level 2 Shay Van-Hinds was competing for the first time at the Elite level where he scored an incredible 9.9 [out of 10] on vault placing him joint 5th on this apparatus.
In NDP Level 2 Freddie Butchers gave a steady performance to place 20th AA & help the SW Team win the bronze medals.
In NDP Level 3 Dylan Hunt made the South West Team for the first time and helped them win the Silver medals his high being 9.7 on vault & placing 19th AA.
In NDP Level 4 Theo Birakos was 20th AA his coaches were particularly pleased with his tricky pommel routine which he hit well to help the South West Team to the Silver medals.
In NDP Level 5 Bill McCullough was 12th AA and again was instrumental in helping the SW team to the Silver medal, he was 6th= on the Vault and also hit his pommel routine and made a great improvement on his PPP.
