Competitive Program

It has never been a better time to be an Elite gymnast in Great Britain.

Our World standing continues to rise, making us a force to be reckoned with on the International circuit. We are part of the ‘Golden Age’ of British Gymnastics and our fortunes continue to soar creating fantastic opportunities for the future. Our Competitive Program caters for talented gymnasts working towards performance level gymnastics. Our gymnasts compete at County, Regional, National, International, World & Olympic level.

Here at Bristol Hawks we have the expertise to develop fledgling talent through to top level. Our proven track record allows us to work closely with British Gymnastics World Class & National squad program. Our National Governing Body supports us as a High Performance Club with strong Community Roots.

We like to progress our gymnasts at a rate suitable to the individual needs of the child. We therefore have a very flexible system with each gymnast having his or her own personal program of training.
In addition to local children we have children travelling from far and wide to take part in our programs and scholarships are available for special circumstances.

We are currently looking to expand our competitive teams. Our ‘Talent Identification Program’ selects potential competitive gymnasts from within our Award scheme or ‘Try Out’ classes, we also trial children on recommendation from coaches, teachers or parents. Trial sessions cost £10 and can be booked by ringing the gym direct. Assessments usually take place on Saturdays by appointment only and will be undertaken by one of our top coaches.
