Shannon was first selected to compete internationally for Wales at the 2008 Celtic Cup held in Lisburn Ireland. In 2010 she won Gold at the UK School Games as part of Team Wales. She competed for Wales in the World School Games in Qatar later the same year. The video below shows her competing at the 2009 British Espoir Championships.
