A great day for Bristol Hawks at the South West age groups championships held at Melksham on 11th October.
Bristol Hawks girls were crowned the South West Combined Champions at Levels 4,3 and 2! A fantastic achievement.
The young Level 5 girls all had a great competition and gained valuable experience with Alexie Hunt winning Gold on the Beam, Holly Oswald placing 3rd in the Combined, Poppie Abbott picking up medals in both Vault and Beam and Maya Waits having a steady competition through out placing 5th on bars her best apparatus..
In the 9years age group Becky James was sensational winning the All Around on the day plus 3/4 apparatus Gold’s & a Silver on floor. Once the compulsory score from earlier in the year was added on she also took the title of South West Champion at Level 4. Amelie Douglas was 2nd in both the AA and combined and also won medals on 3/4 apparatus. Kate Trott was 7th AA on the day and made it 1,2,3. for Bristol Hawks in this age group by placing third in the Combined. Mia Wilson was 8th in the day and 5th in the combined.
In the 10 year old age group Roxanne Price won the Combined Trophy and also medaled on 3/4 apparatus and was 5th AA. Mayalee Osola placed 5th in the Combined and 7th AA.
In the 11 year old age group Bristol Hawks Girls were once again 1st 2nd and 3rd in the Combined with Emily Edge becoming South West Combined & Voluntary Champion she also Gold on Bars & Beam; Silver on Floor and Bronze on Vault. Elize Waits was 2nd in the combined and 4th AA on the day also picking up a Silver medal on bars. Alice Wintle was 3rd AA on the day and won Gold on both Vault and Floor plus Bronze on Beam.
Caitlin had a great competition at the South West Challenge Cup placing second all around in the Espoir age group as well as taking Gold with a sky high Vault and Bronze on both Bars and Beam
Lots of medals won across all the age groups and a great day was had by all.Well done everybody!
