International Training Camp 2009

Amy Sharp was invited to attend a week long combined training camp at Loughborough University from 21st – 28th March. Girls from the Great Britain World Class Start Squad trained alongside girls from the Romanian National Junior Squad.
The long standing collaboration between the British and Romanian gymnastics communities continues to develop.
The Romanian Junior Team had taken part in a recent International competition against Britain in N.Ireland and then stayed on, along with delegation members, to train with a selection of British gymnasts at Loughborough High Performance Centre. The camp was led by British National Coach Corina Morosan. It was a chance for both teams to share knowledge and comes on the back of the GB Start Squad visiting the Romanian Junior National training centre in Onesti last April, for a similar training camp.
