2014 British Championships

An absolutely fantastic personal best performance saw Claudia Fragapane sharing the winners podium with two Olympians at the Senior Women’s Artistic Gymnastic Championships held at the Echo Arena in Liverpool. Claudia was the top scorer on both the Vault and Floor exercises and won the Bronze in the All Around event with London 2012 Olympian Rebecca Tunney topping the AA standings and Beijing 2008 Olympian Beccy Downie taking the Silver.Claudia also made history by becoming the first British women to compete the highly difficult full twisting double straight somersault in her floor routine.
In the apparatus finals the next day Claudia picked up two more medals – Silver in the Vault Final and Bronze in the Bar Final making her Senior Championship debut a truly memorable event.
