Men’s Artistic Coach [Full Time]
Bristol Hawks is a highly successful club with a strong community base and a fun, family friendly ethos. Our professional & highly qualified team are committed to developing the potential of our members from grass roots through to the highest level of competitive Men’s & Women’s Artistic Gymnastics. We have a long-proven track record in performance level gymnastics with many of our gymnasts & officials representing Great Britain at Olympic, World and European championships. We provide competitive opportunities for our gymnasts from club through regional to national & international level.

We are offering a unique opportunity to develop your coaching career with us. Working at our dedicated, well equipped facility, alongside a highly qualified and experienced team of coaches & managers you will take on a variety of roles. You will be expected to deliver fun, safe and progressive sessions to a wide range of ages and abilities both in our general gymnastics and our men’s & women’s artistic programmes. You will be able to focus on and help to develop our Men’s Artistic programme under the mentorship and guidance of our head men’s artistic coach with further opportunities for promotion in the future. You must be willing to learn & assist with the administrative duties at Bristol Hawks, including reception duties, developing training plans and ensuring our high standard of gymnastics, safety and customer service is maintained. Flexibility of working hours is important & it is essential to be able to work weekends & bank holidays when required.

The personal development of our team members is important to us, and the selected candidate will be mentored through a range of coaching qualifications; facilitated to attend coaching, judging & management courses; encouraged to achieve other relevant qualifications and given the opportunity to gain further knowledge by attending International, National & Regional squads & training camps with our gymnasts.

This challenging role requires candidates to have a minimum British Gymnastics Level 2 qualification in Men’s Artistic Gymnastics and a suitable level of experience.
We are committed to the safeguarding, protection and wellbeing of children and expect the highest professional standards and conduct from all our staff. A DBS disclosure, safeguarding training and provision of 2 independent references are required.
Salary is dependant on skills, experience and qualifications.
Hours: 30-40 per week

General Gymnastics Coach [Part-Time]

Our professional & highly qualified team are committed to developing the potential of our members from grass roots through to the highest level of competitive Men’s & Women’s Artistic Gymnastics.
Working at our dedicated, well-equipped facility, under the direction of our highly qualified and experienced team of coaches & managers you will be expected to deliver fun, safe and progressive sessions to a wide range of ages and abilities during our general gymnastics sessions. We primarily require coaches for our Saturday afternoon/evening sessions but have a variety of other hours on weekdays on offer.
The personal development of our team members is important to us and the selected candidate will have the opportunity to be mentored through coaching qualifications; facilitated to attend coaching & judging courses and encouraged to achieve other relevant qualifications.

We are looking for someone who:
➢ Has an interest in developing their gymnastics knowledge
➢ Can deliver a fun, safe session which helps our gymnasts reach their personal goals
➢ Has good communication skills and emotional intelligence
➢ Is reliable and has a strong work ethic
➢ Enjoys working with children & young people

➢ Is self-motivated and has a professional attitude

This role requires candidates to have a minimum British Gymnastics Level 1 qualification in either General, Women’s or Men’s Artistic Gymnastics and a suitable level of experience.
