Another brilliant day at the SW Grades for our Bristol Hawks Team.
In Elite Compulsory Level 4 Shantae shone to win by an impressive margin over a strong field. Her dynamic near perfect second vault scored the only 14 of the day [14.167 out of a possible 14.5]. Overall she gained a Distinction and she will lead the SW Team at the National Finals later in the year.
In National Grade 2 Kate’s well presented work earned her trip to the National Finals as reserve for the SW Team. Close on her heels with a personal best performance was Mia, both girls achieved well deserved Distinctions.
In National Grade 3 Lexi just missed out on the bronze medal by the smallest of margins 0.009!! She was delighted however to earn her place for the second year running in the SW Team to the National Finals. Newcomer Amy showed fantastic improvement from her control competition to alongside Lexi earn a Distinction. Isla was extremely close [less than 0.2] to also achieving a Distinction. Her coaches were impressed with how she handled an equipment malfunction on beam & also her vast improvement in her range and conditioning set from last year.
In National Grade 4 Charlotte made a fantastic jump up from Regional Grades last year to produce lovely work across the board. Olivia also put in a great all round performance and both girls thoroughly deserved their Distinctions.
