Awarded Master Coach of GB for his work in developing gymnasts for Team GB RORY is part of our International Performance team working both with our Elite gymnasts & developing our young gymnasts through our range of classes. He was part of the Great Britain coaching team at the 2015 World Championships & the 2017 & 2014 European Championships. In 2018 he was selected as Team England coach to the Commonwealth Games. He is one of the personal coaches of Claudia Fragapane [Rio Olympian 2016; Commonwealth Games 4 x Gold medalist; 2 x World Bronze Medalist & European 3 x Silver Medalist]; Caitlin Lochhead [Scottish International Team Member] & Rowena Needham [England Team Gold medalist at UK School Games 2014]
Rory holds a BA in Coach Education and Sport Development from Bath University.
He is a British Gymnastics Level 6 'International Performance coach and judging convenor for the South-West Region. He was selected by British Gymnastics to take part in the first ever High Performance Coach Development Programme and graduated from this in 2014. He is part of the South West Performance Pathway Coaching team. Rory also plays a part in developing the careers of other coaches through mentoring, lecturing & practical workshops.
