Owen Potter

OWEN is the youngest member of the Bristol Hawks family whose parents, sister, grandparents, uncle & aunt are all involved in the club. He grew up at the club taking part first in the toddler sessions & awards classes and graduating to the Intermediate classes. He has continued his gymnastics journey both as a performer & more recently by becoming a qualified coach. He currently holds a Level 1 Mens Artistic coaching award and is working towards the Level 2.
Owen is also an assistant coach of Shaolin Kung Fu under the guidance of Neil Genge founder of ‘Shaolin Wushu Academy Bristol’ that holds sessions at Bristol Hawks. Owen is an accomplished martial arts performer having studied Shaolin Kung Fu since the age of 4 years. He won double gold at the 10th UK Shaolin Temple Chinese Martial Arts Competition 2017. He recently returned from a training trip to the Shaolin Temple in China where he received instruction from the World famous monks.
